Appointments

How do I make an appointment?

You can easily and quickly schedule an appointment at one of our 7 locations via our online booking widget . If this doesn't work, or you need more explanation about a treatment, you can contact our lovely bookers via info@soaptreatmentstore.com or +31 (0)20 673 0506 . Furthermore, you can always walk into one of the stores and make an appointment there.

What should I do if I have an appointment but I am late?

We would appreciate it if you could let us know by telephone if you are unable to make it to your appointment on time, so that we can inform the specialist.

How can I reschedule my appointment?

You can move your appointment to another time via the 'move appointment' button in the confirmation email you received after making an appointment. If this doesn't work, or you have further questions, you can contact our lovely bookers via info@soaptreatmentstore.com or +31 (0)20 673 0506.

How do I cancel my appointment?

You can cancel your appointment yourself via the 'cancel appointment' button in the confirmation email you received after making an appointment. If this doesn't work, or you have further questions, you can contact our lovely bookers via info@soaptreatmentstore.com or +31 (0)20 673 0506.

Do you work with waiting lists?

Yes, it is possible to be placed on the waiting list. You'll receive an email and/or a call as soon as a spot becomes available. The waiting list is updated regularly, but if it is very busy there may be a delay. That is why we always advise you to keep an eye on the website to see if a place has become available or we advise you to call back again.

Do I have to pay before my visit?

No, you do not have to pay immediately when you schedule an appointment (online). After your treatment you can pay in the store.

Treatments

Can I go to Soap if I'm pregnant?

At Doctors at Soap we cannot treat pregnant or breastfeeding women. In principle, pregnant women can undergo all treatments at Soap Treatment Store, but they must inform us beforehand for a facial or massage. They will then receive a facial that is specially adapted to the wishes and skin condition of the pregnant woman. In the stores in The Hague and Eindhoven we have massage benches with a hole in them especially for the pregnant woman's belly. Cushions are used in Amsterdam South, Rotterdam and Haarlem. At the other salons, pregnant women can lie on their side during the massage.

Do you have duo treatments?

Yes, we offer duo treatments. With manicures and pedicures we can treat two or more people at the same time. The treatments that take place in one room (such as a facial) can be performed at the same time, but not in the same room. So: if you want a treatment with two or more people at the same time, we advise you to schedule a manicure or pedicure because you can sit next to each other.

Do you offer treatments for children?

Yes, we have designed a number of treatments especially for the little ones: the little diva manicure and pedicure . These are colorful treatments that are great to combine with your own mani or pedi! We also offer a facial for teenagers up to 18, specially designed for 'outbreaking' teenage skin.

Do you have treatments specifically for men?

Almost all our treatments are suitable for everyone! In addition, we have a botulinum toxin treatment from Doctors at Soap especially for men, and a number of hair removal treatments that are specifically aimed at men. Need inspiration? Most men come to us for the no-polish manicure / pedicure (of course you are welcome to try a nice color too), or for a relaxing facial .

Gift cards

What is the difference between a gift card and an E-gift?

You can order the gift card online via the website or you can buy it in one of the stores. If you order it online, the gift card will be wrapped for you and sent by post to the address you enter. You can also order the E-gift online, but you will receive it straight away in your mailbox.

Are you purchasing the gift card or E-gift for a specific treatment or for a specific amount?

For a certain amount. When purchasing the gift card or E-gift, you choose an amount that can be used for each treatment at Soap Treatment Store or Doctors at Soap.

How long is my gift card or E-gift valid?

2 year.

Can I also buy products from my gift card or E-gift?

Yes, this is possible with both the gift card and the E-gift when you buy products in the store.

Can I exchange my gift card or E-gift for money?

No, this isn't possible.

How long does it take before I receive my gift card?

Gift cards ordered before 4:00 PM on Monday to Saturday will be shipped the same day. In most cases, this means that the gift card will be delivered the next day. If the gift card is ordered after 4:00 PM, it will be posted the next day. Gift cards ordered on Saturday after 4:00 PM and on Sunday will be posted on Monday.

Prescription products

What is the difference between an active and a basic?

Actives are pure and high-dose ingredients that can address any skin concern in a very targeted manner. You can use them separately or combine them with a basic, depending on the active. Basics form the base of every skin care routine; think of a cleanser, cream or spf. You can enrich these products with an active so that you can personalize the basic and tackle a specific skin concern. All our basics are plant-based 🌱, our actives are lab-based 🥼.

Are there also Prescription salon treatments?

Yes, Prescription has hyper personalized facials; the high intensives . These are facials that are performed with Prescription products and are completely tailor-made. This way we can treat every skin concern and achieve all skin goals.

Can I also mix the actives with my own cleanser or cream (from another brand)?

Yes, that's possible. But it is a requirement that there are no strong active ingredients in your cleanser or cream. For example, an acid such as glycolic acid or salicylic acid may have been added to the cleanser. And a cream may contain retinol (this is always stated on the jar or tube). That's too much for your skin, since our actives also have a strong effect. Your cream and cleanser are best suited for Prescription actives if they are plant-based.

Can I also remove my make-up with the Edelweiss cleanser?

Yes, our cleanser is vegan and plant-based, so you can also use it to remove your makeup. Would you like the cleanser to deeply cleanse your skin? Then you can mix it with glycolic acid10% , mandelic acid20% or salicylic acid2% + azelaic acid7%.

Which products can I use when I am pregnant?

Almost everything, except the retinol palmitate 3.7%. We also advise you to omit glycolic acid 10% and salicylic acid 2% + azelaic acid 7% during pregnancy. Why? Because these active ingredients exfoliate your skin really well, and you are more likely to produce pigment during your pregnancy.

Can I use the actives on holiday / during sun exposure?

Yes, that's possible. But it is necessary that you use an SPF during the day. ☀️
