Soap is the leading beauty company in the Netherlands, and we’re growing faster than ever! We offer award-winning beauty treatments, injectables, and skin therapy with the help of expert cosmetic doctors, skin therapists, and a top team of beauty specialists. With nine beauty salons and 19 cosmetic clinics across the Netherlands, we are currently looking for a driven Store Manager for one of our locations in Amsterdam.

About the job

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated manager with a natural passion for beauty. As a Store Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our team of 14 beauty specialists. You’ll ensure that all day-to-day operations run smoothly – from guiding and motivating your team to achieving revenue goals. You’ll work in a fun and close-knit team, focusing on creating the best possible customer experience. Together with your team, you’ll provide top-quality beauty treatments and the best service.

Your other tasks will include:

  • Lead and mentor your team to continuously improve performance and achieve shared goals;
  • Prepare schedules and ensure optimal staffing levels;
  • Conduct performance and job interviews;
  • Maintain and process records, including payroll, inventory, invoices and reports in a timely manner;
  • Resolve complaints and problems that arise in the workplace with an eye toward ultimate customer satisfaction;
  • Ensure an attractive store appearance that matches SOAP's brand identity;
  • Collaborating with the Head of Education and Treatments to implement and achieve retail targets;
  • Monitor professionalism, service and culture in the store.

About you

  • You’re a motivated leader with at least 1 year of experience in a management role;
  • You have a completed HBO-level education in Commercial Economics, Retail Management, Business Administration, or Entrepreneurship;
  • You have a natural affinity for beauty and skincare;
  • You speak and write fluent Dutch and English;
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are able to think strategically;
  • You have experience setting retail targets and know how to inspire your team to meet them;
  • You’re tech-savvy and comfortable using various systems to support your work.
